El Salvador Impresionante QS6K Women’s Series
The World Surf League (WSL) Women’s Qualifying Series (QS) is back in El Salvador at the world-class righthand pointbreak of Punta Roca, La Libertad for the second edition of the Copa El Salvador Impresionante QS6K Women’s.
The World Surf League (WSL) Copa El Salvador Impresionante QS6K Women’s completed Round 1 in its entirety with beautiful, four-to-six foot swell pumping through Punta Roca, La Libertad.
The event window opened from June 15th to June 19th, and the forecast is looking beautiful for some of the world’s best female surfers.
This event completes the first Latin American leg introduced to the Women’s QS and 6,000 more points are up for grabs to help solidify a position into the Top 6 for a chance at qualification into the Samsung Galaxy Women’s Championship Tour (CT).
The event will feature over 90 of the best surfers in the world. Do not miss this competition where you can see the beauty and skills of the female gender in the waves.
The opening heats received the day’s pristine conditions as competitors put on a showcase of high-performance surfing. The competition was called off after the completion of Round 1 with the winds turning unfavorable, but not before the spectators were treated to excellent scores and picturesque waves.
Dates: 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 June.

Heading into El Salvador will be a massive turning point for a lot of these QS competitors and may see even more shakeups in the Top 6. The Copa El Salvador Impresionante begins June 15-19 where the women will have the competition to themselves in what is forecast to be a great event.
